I recently returned from a two week trip to New Zealand where I attended my Dad's 90th Birthday. While there I was able to do some sight seeing and met up with several of the local windsurfing and kiteboarding sailors.
Unfortunately I goofed and left a couple of rolls of film in the rental car. However, here are a few pics that may be of interest to you. This is some of my family and you guessed it I'm the guy with the long hair and heavy jacket. The other pictures show a few of the many pristine wind surfing beaches, and James Dinnis who designs and produces NewZealand's "Carbon Art" Sailboards. These are high quality, high carbon content sailboards.
You should give it some thought about a trip down there some time. It's not as expensive as you might think and there are some unbelievable things to do and see.
