Von (OJ)Ojala was a charter member of the Lawrence Windsurfing Association (LWA) and is a past Vice President. He is a certified Tool/Diemaker and served his apprenticeship in New Zealand under the old styled European program. He has received tutoring from some of the best craftsman in the business, and has worked in many different areas including the MX missile program, The B1 bomber program, North Sea oil exploration equipment, Automotive manufacturing. Prototype gyroscopes for commercial jet aircraft. Some of his designs have been included in magazine articles and have been put on display at the International Tool Show in Chicago. Von has combined 35 years of machining, toolmaking and his college background with more than a decade of windsurfing to fine tune windsurfing equipment and to engineer custom applications for the RV camping experience.

WaterCooledTrading.com is a close knit operation based in Kansas City. Von's wife Dana and daughter Summer have been handling the business side of things while Team Riders Joe Friedl and Craig Wright and Dale McClaran assist on the windsurfing side. All have been a key players in the success of the business.
